Lindsey Remmers, MS, RD, CSSD, LMNT
Lindsey is a Registered Dietitian specializing in Sports Nutrition for athletes and active individuals. A former collegiate volleyball athlete and current fitness enthusiast, she understands the link between exercise and nutrition. Through both personal and work experience, Lindsey knows first-hand the demand placed on athletes and their busy schedules as they go from early morning workouts to class to practice to studying, allowing her to provide real-world solutions to fit an athlete's active lifestyle. Lindsey consults persons of all ages and competitive levels - from high school to elite athletes, active adults, and those simply looking to improve their health. She works full time with 400+ athletes, both male and female, at the University of Nebraska including: volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, golf, swimming & diving, gymnastics, track & field, long-distance runners, and tennis. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition from Winthrop University in 2005, completed her dietetic internship in 2006, received her Master's degree in Nutrition & Exercise Science from the University of Nebraska in 2008, and is a Licensed, Registered Dietitian and a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics.
Lindsey continues to enjoy competitive adult volleyball, both indoor and outdoor, and stays active running and strength training daily. Her passion is providing athletes with the tools they need to help them outperform their competition through solid nutrition, while teaching them how to enhance their health with long-lasting lifestyle changes. She provides individual nutritional counseling that focuses on performance fueling strategies, hydration and proper supplementation, game-day fueling, team nutrition education sessions, on-site and travel meal management, body composition analysis, food allergies, grocery store tours, healthy cooking, and eating disorder prevention and counseling.

Josh
Hingst, MS,
RD, SCCC, LMNT
Sports Nutritionist University of Nebraska
Director
of Sports Nutrition Josh Hingst joined the Nebraska Athletic Department in
April of 2009. In this role, Hingst directs body composition analysis,
nutrition education, performance fueling strategies, eating disorder prevention
and counseling, sports supplements and hydration. He also plays a role in
coordinating menus and education at the Nebraska Training Table and planning
meals on the road for various Nebraska teams.
Hingst's
professional licenses and certifications include: Registered Dietician,
Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified, and Certified Strength and
Conditioning Specialist.
Hingst
previously served as team nutritionist for the Atlanta Falcons during the 2008
season, after spending five years in strength and conditioning and sports
nutrition capacities at Florida State. During his time at FSU, Hingst earned
his master's degree in clinical nutrition with an emphasis in sports nutrition.
Hingst received his bachelor's degrees in nutritional sciences and dietetics
and exercise science from Nebraska in 2001, and was an assistant strength and
conditioning coach for the Huskers as a student at Nebraska.
